The VERBA dry feed trough for piglets, made from 304 stainless steel, is suitable for all types of dry feed, possibly mixed with 35% CCM. This piglet feed trough is specially designed for weaned piglets weighing between 7 and 35 kg. The large hopper capacity and the variety of models make this piglet dry feed trough ideal for feeding small to very large groups of piglets.
Robust design and hygiene
The VERBA piglet dry feed trough is extremely robust thanks to the use of 304 stainless steel. The piglet feeder is fitted all round with the exceptionally strong and hygienic, unique VERBA beaded rim. The ingenious stainless steel anti-spill rim is completely sealed and ensures excellent hygiene by preventing piglet feed from getting inside and spoiling. Furthermore, this anti-spill rim minimises feed wastage and optimises feed conversion, resulting in significant cost savings.
Safe and sustainable feeding areas
The feeding compartments are separated by a round stainless steel bar frame with top and bottom rails, so that piglets cannot get their ear tags caught and become trapped. These feeding pen dividers are fully inserted through the stainless steel front panel and then fully welded in place, ensuring they cannot break free, even if the welds were to fail. The feeding compartment side of the VERBA piglet feeder is made of stainless steel and is light in colour, ensuring optimal feed intake and visible hygiene in the piglet pen.
Easy adjustment and versatility
The in-house developed and indestructible VERBA adjustment mechanism with star knob is very simple to use, highly accurate and always stays in position. This saves labour time and ensures that the piglets never run out of feed when using this feeder. These details, which we have been refining for 50 years, ensure that the VERBA dry feeders offer excellent value for money and are the best choice for your piglet house. All dry feed troughs for piglets are also available in a double version and can be adjusted separately for each piglet pen.
