The VERBA MA shelf feeder for fattening pigs is equipped with a heavy stainless steel platform where the pigs pick up the feed and possibly combine it with water at the bottom to make a mash. The MA shelffeeders are suitable for small and large groups of pigs. For the MA the feed type does not matter, all the following feed types can be fed without problems.

Description

Discover the versatile VERBA MA feeder, specially designed for finishing pigs. Equipped with a sturdy stainless steel platform under which drinking nipples are mounted. As the pigs pick up the feed from the platform with their snout or ears, they can turn it into mush in the trough using the drinking nipple.

The MA feeders are suitable for small and large groups of pigs and are very robust. We often see these plateau feeders in organic barns or barns with an outdoor area. For the MA it does not matter what kind of feed, all the types of feed listed below can be fed without problem.

The VERBA drinking nipples have excellent accessibility and at a water output of 0.4 ltr per min, they ensure a perfect feed/water ratio and optimal feed conversion, making this feeder a significant cost saver. The best mounting location for small groups of pigs is fixed in the corner.

For large groups of pigs, they can be switched so that there is single 1 down pipe for water.
